Business Development Representative [Portugal]


 

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business development or sales role with a strong preference for candidates with direct experience within the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry or a related field.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and generating new business opportunities.

  • Exceptional Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese, with the ability to effectively present and communicate complex solutions to clients.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer-centric approach with the ability to understand clients’ pain points, propose effective solutions, and build long-term relationships.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly driven, self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
  • Tech-savvy: Proficiency in using Hubspot is strongly preferred, experience with G-Suite and other relevant technologies to manage the sales process as well as a fundamental understanding of mail merge, including best practices and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and prospect potential clients in the target market through various channels such as online research, cold calling, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their business needs, and positioning our services as a solution to their challenges.
  • Consultative Sales: Conduct thorough consultations with potential clients to understand their requirements, tailor solutions to meet their specific needs, and prepare and present compelling proposals.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Effectively manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline by tracking all relevant information, interactions, and progress with potential clients using Hubspot.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Collaborate with the sales team and management to present contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new business opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment and provide valuable feedback to enhance service offerings and improve the customer experience.
  • Working Hours: This is a full-time position with working hours from 12 pm to 8 pm local time to accommodate international clients and team collaboration.
  • Location: The position is based in Lisbon, Portugal.
