Electronics, Electromechanics and Autonomous Purchasing (EEA) is a newly created global organization within GTP, responsible for purchasing components and software associated with these very dynamic domains.
EEA has the operational responsibility for EEA Purchasing activities in Europe all along the Purchasing process. EEA also has the strategic steering responsibility for all EEA Purchasing activities globally, ensuring a strong collaboration between EEA teams spread across different sites/regions. The team is responsible to drive end-to-end Purchasing activities whilst securing Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk, always in strong collaboration with the internal stakeholders, with the objective to create value for the Volvo Group and our customers.

What we absolutely need you to do
As Head of EEA Purchasing, you drive and manage the performance of your department. You lead a team of leaders in the areas of Electronics, Electro-Mechanics and Autonomous Solutions, manage supply partners’ relationship, foster cross-functional collaboration, contribute to supply partner negotiation and drive global segment strategies. You also promote and ensure a strong collaboration within EEA Purchasing globally in all Continents.
In this role you drive, promote and foster Sustainability (Climate, Resources and People) supporting Volvo Group Sustainability Strategy and Science Based Targets initiative. You are proactive and strong agent in the transformational journey of the Volvo Group, GTP and EEA, exploring and implementing Partnerships and New business models with relevant actors in your value chains and ecosystems, digitalization of Purchasing activities, new technologies and procurement efficiency initiatives.
You are drive the EEA Strategic Business Plan, in alignment with the Volvo Group Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Priorities.
You passionately work on developing the team, and foster a culture of sharing knowledge, helping each other across the teams and regions, striving for openness, transparency and two-ways-dialogue.
You will be a member of the GTP Executive Management team and also actively contribute to the development of GTP as an organization. You will report to the CPO of the Volvo Group, GTP EVP.
