Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in Security Systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and delivering security system projects, particularly with a focus on Honeywell and Lenel vendor certifications. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of security system projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage security system projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors to achieve project goals.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
Coordinate with clients to understand their security requirements and propose effective solutions utilizing Honeywell and Lenel vendor products.
Oversee the procurement and delivery of security system components, ensuring timely availability and compliance with project specifications.
Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, resolving technical challenges and ensuring adherence to vendor-specific certifications.
Foster strong relationships with clients, promoting customer satisfaction and identifying potential business opportunities.
Prepare and present project status reports, including milestones achieved, budget updates, and performance metrics, to stakeholders and senior management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lessons learned from previous projects to enhance future project execution.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in security systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in project management, specifically within the field of security systems.
Extensive knowledge of security system technologies, with a focus on Honeywell and Lenel vendor certifications.
Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams towards successful outcomes.
